Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent job-related experience
- 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, C/C++, or similar
- Experience designing and building backend systems like services, APIs, job pipelines, automation tools or others
- Solid understanding of Linux systems fundamentals
- Strong software engineering fundamentals such as data structures, debugging, and code quality
- Familiarity with engineering best practices such as version control, CI/CD pipelines, unit/integration testing, and code reviews
- Experience dealing with large database problems and scaling techniques
- Experience with DNS protocols, systems, and best practices
- Experience with production operations such as incident response, monitoring, and on-call
- Knowledge of databases and caching systems like SQL/NoSQL and Redis
- Experience working in large-scale, multi-region environments
Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of backend system architecture and contribute infrastructure code.
