• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent job-related experience
• 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, C/C++, or similar
• Experience designing and building backend systems like services, APIs, job pipelines, or automation tools
• Solid understanding of Linux systems fundamentals
• Strong software engineering fundamentals such as data structures and debugging
• Familiarity with engineering best practices such as version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience dealing with large database problems and scaling techniques
• Experience with DNS protocols and systems
• Experience with production operations such as incident response and monitoring
• Knowledge of databases and caching systems like SQL/NoSQL and Redis
• Experience working in large-scale, multi-region environments
