Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent job-related experience
- 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, C/C++, or similar
- Experience designing and building backend systems like services, APIs, job pipelines, or automation tools
- Solid understanding of Linux systems fundamentals
- Strong software engineering fundamentals such as data structures and debugging
- Familiarity with engineering best practices such as version control and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience dealing with large database problems and scaling techniques
- Experience with DNS protocols and systems
- Experience with production operations such as incident response and monitoring
- Knowledge of databases and caching systems like SQL/NoSQL and Redis
- Experience working in large-scale, multi-region environments
Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of backend system architecture and contribute infrastructure code for various teams and systems.
