The role focuses on various areas including Back-End Engineering, Core OS, Web Development, and iOS and macOS app Development. Requirements
- Pursuing a graduate (MS) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Design, Information Security or related fields.
- Strong object-oriented design skills and knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency in one or more developer skills such as Java, C/C++, PHP, Python, Ruby, Unix, MySQL, Clojure, Scala, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, or Swift.
- Experience with methodologies like Data Modeling, Validation, Processing, and MapReduce.
- Experience with distributed technologies such as HDFS, Spark, Golang, Hadoop, Mongo, Pig, or Hive.
- Experience with web frameworks such as AngularJS, NodeJS, or SproutCore.
- Experience with iOS and macOS development in Swift, XCode, or Objective-C.
- Client-Server protocol and API design skills.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in back-end development to build features for Apple products like Siri and Apple Music.
- Help design and build fully integrated operating systems that combine hardware, software, and services.
- Contribute to building elegant user experiences that are simple and intuitive.
- Work with UX teams and back-end engineers to develop a web portal for software development.
- Build web-based and iOS tools and applications to enhance Apple products.
- Assist in producing key business and technical infrastructure at Apple.
- Help protect Apple's information and monitor for emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
