This team focuses on enhancing customer experiences through the Azure platform, engaging directly with customers to solve complex technical challenges. Engineers will contribute to the design and development of observability-focused services while ensuring production reliability. The position offers a unique opportunity to blend hands-on engineering with strategic customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with strategic Azure customers to design, build, and optimize production-grade applications on Azure.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of an observability-focused service.
  • Support live production environments through on-call participation and incident investigation.
  • Develop technical assets, tools, guidance, and reference implementations to enable repeatable customer success.
  • Collaborate with other product teams to represent real-world customer experiences and drive improvements.

Benefits

Time-off and flexibility are common, with generous vacation and holidays, parental and caregiver leave, and flexible work schedules, alongside learning support, employee resource groups, product discounts, and matching-gifts/volunteering programs. Specific benefits can vary by region.
