Job description

Apple is seeking a dedicated PHY Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Designer to join their innovative team. This role involves collaborating with various teams to deliver high-performance PHY designs that enhance user experiences. The designer will engage in transistor level Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Designs and work closely with Layout Teams. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the field and contribute to all phases of PHY design from concept to final delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven understanding of Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Design of PHYs including TX, RX, Delay Locked Loops, and Phase Interpolators
  • Knowledge of Basic SoC Architecture and HDL languages like Verilog
  • Solid understanding of Circuit Verification tools such as Simulators and Extraction tools

Responsibilities

  • Perform transistor level Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Designs
  • Collaborate with Layout Teams on the physical implementation of PHY designs
  • Generate block and chip level specifications
  • Conduct block level verification to meet performance, power, and area specifications
  • Participate in establishing Design Methodologies for accurate designs
