Job description
The role involves driving the development of CPU technology for various applications including AI, deep learning, and high-performance computing. The CPU performance architecture team focuses on enhancing CPU performance across multiple markets. Candidates will analyze workloads, develop performance analysis tools, and work closely with CPU architects to improve designs. This position is critical for pushing performance boundaries in NVIDIA's CPU products.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with data visualization techniques and Python programming.
- Familiarity with compiler concepts.
- Understanding of modern web development technologies such as JavaScript, D3, and Django.
- Knowledge of CPU microarchitecture.
Responsibilities
- Study workloads for a wide range of markets including CSP, HPC, AI, and autonomous vehicles.
- Develop infrastructure to visualize CPU performance bottlenecks on important workloads.
- Develop performance analysis tools.
- Analyze and debug performance scaling bottlenecks on multi-core and multi-socket CPU and CPU/GPU systems.
- Work with CPU architects to improve future CPU and system designs based on findings.
