The role is for a computer vision engineer or researcher at KLA, focusing on developing AI-enabled semiconductor inspection equipment. The successful candidate will join a high-performing team of PhDs and engineers in the LS-SWIFT algorithms group located in California. This position involves tackling challenging unsolved problems in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Requirements
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, or image processing.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience with training ML/AI models that have been deployed in a product.
- Ability to write model architectures from scratch and modify loss functions.
- Doctorate degree with no related work experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, and diagnose complex machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
- Invent, prototype, and deploy new image processing algorithms and ideas.
- Utilize hands-on experience in object-oriented and functional programming.
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
