Job description
The Frontend Web Software Engineer will join the team responsible for building the foundational user experience for NVIDIA GPU Cloud (NGC). This role focuses on delivering high-impact services and a modern interface for enterprise customers. The engineer will work closely with architects, designers, and backend engineers to create responsive web applications using React.js. A key aspect of the role involves applying AI tools to enhance development effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working as a contributor to a medium-to-large scale frontend web application or project
- Experience working with React.js or another comparable framework
- Skill in developing refined, responsive user interfaces that ensure a pleasing user experience
- Ability to build meaningful tests using established patterns
- Enthusiasm for the fundamentals of frontend work: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and the ecosystem that surrounds the client-side application
Responsibilities
- Build and implement critical features for core NGC services, including Identity and Access Management and account security.
- Play a key role in developing the unified portal that acts as the gateway for all NVIDIA cloud products.
- Proactively apply AI tools and agents to boost code quality and speed up development.
- Drive the evolution of application architecture and development patterns for large and complex components.
- Work closely with Product, UX, and Backend teams to convert complex requirements into elegant UIs.
- Participate in all stages of the product lifecycle, including planning, documentation, and code review.
- Estimate personal timelines and coordinate work to deliver achievements effectively.
- Present and/or demonstrate work and research in front of colleagues from across the company.
