Job description

The Autonomous Vehicles Platform team at NVIDIA is seeking experienced engineers to develop and productize innovative solutions for self-driving cars. The role involves collaborating with multi-functional engineering teams to integrate various vehicle subsystems into the autonomous driving platform. Engineers will focus on developing embedded real-time system software that ensures safety for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in a related field
  • Detailed experience with Classic AUTOSAR Software Stack and associated development tools
  • Excellent C and C++ coding skills along with proficiency in scripting languages
  • Deep understanding of SoC principles, general systems architectures, operating systems, device drivers, memory management, multithreading, and real-time scheduling
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded real-time system software responsible for providing safety services for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
  • Optimize solutions to meet all product, safety, and system level requirements
  • Adhere to development rigor to achieve overall product safety goals
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and integration teams to derive and drive system level architecture and requirements
  • Engage with customer teams directly to customize, integrate, and productize solutions
  • Analyze sophisticated technical issues and independently drive resolution across multiple teams
  • Work in an environment involving RTOS, Classic AUTOSAR, QNX/Linux OS, and real-time embedded environments
