Job description

The Software Engineer will be part of the Amazon Finance Transformation team, focusing on developing innovative finance systems that integrate AI and automation. This role involves working on a new platform for finance reporting, enhancing manual workflows with advanced AI capabilities. The team emphasizes high-quality software delivery and collaboration, aiming to drive accuracy and efficiency in finance processes. Engineers will engage with senior developers to create both frontend and backend solutions using a variety of technologies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Own components of newly developed finance systems and design these components using AI builder tools and AWS infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to execute the product and technology vision for Finance Reporting.
  • Work with a full technology stack, focusing on server side, UI, and utilizing AI to deliver customer value.
  • Drive designs and long-term solutions for multiple applications, including AI native ones.
  • Explore potential AI-driven solutions to address automation challenges in Finance Reporting.
