Job description

This role involves building agentic and frontend features for AWS services such as CloudFront, WAF, and Shield. You will work within a diverse team of engineers and specialists to enhance customer experiences through innovative product development. The position emphasizes collaboration, empathy for developers, and a commitment to delivering exceptional user interfaces. You will also have opportunities to mentor other engineers and contribute to the overall direction of the product.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • 5+ years of front-end development experience creating prototypes or wireframes for enterprise web applications or workflows.
  • Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks such as React.JS, AngularJS, or Vue.
  • Knowledge of web services technologies including SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST.
  • Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Build agentic and frontend features that customers engage with daily to improve their experience using CloudFront, WAF, and Shield.
  • Rapidly prototype and convert designs into working user interfaces and agentic skills.
  • Build frontend experiences and tooling in the browser and on the command line.
  • Participate in the early planning stages of product delivery as part of the developer experience team.
  • Provide insights and perspectives as a developer to enhance the services for other developers.
