Job description
The Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) team is seeking a cleared ADC Engineer to support U.S. Government agencies in implementing cloud computing solutions. This role involves troubleshooting complex system operations and building new features for services like Amazon EFS, FSx, S3 on Outposts, and Amazon MQ. Engineers will work with sensitive data and have a significant impact on large-scale systems. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
Requirements
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND or Network+ or Security+
- 1+ years of Linux systems administration and/or development experience
- 1+ years of technical support experience
- 1+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services
- Experience with systems administration on either Linux/UNIX or Windows operating systems
Responsibilities
- Support AWS Storage and Data services engineering and operations.
- Manage and monitor systems health and status.
- Provision devices, assist with data ingestion, and perform device cleaning.
- Troubleshoot device, network, and configuration related issues.
- Identify, document, and communicate engineering and operations recommendations to team members.
- Write and disseminate after action reports capturing key events and actions taken.
- Provide on-call support.
