The role involves designing, building, and operating Tier-1 cloud services for Amazon's Alexa+, an AI-powered personal assistant. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews

• Design and implement highly available, scalable cloud services in Rust and Java
• Build and operate Tier-1 services at massive scale
• Solve novel and complex distributed systems challenges
• Leverage generative AI extensively in day-to-day development workflow
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define technical direction
