The Audio & Media Technologies group at Apple is seeking passionate systems and algorithm software engineers to join their Perception Systems team. This team will focus on developing a secure software architecture for multi-modal awareness on Apple platforms. Engineers will work with advanced machine learning algorithms that utilize input from various sensors to enhance user experiences while ensuring privacy and security. The role involves creating a framework that integrates with existing system components and applications for future Apple products.
Requirements
- Excellent software design and programming skills in Swift, Objective-C, and/or C/C++.
- A passion for understanding end-to-end systems, from user experience to hardware.
- Experience with on-device machine learning frameworks, particularly in image and video processing.
- An understanding of how to develop and debug multi-threaded software.
- Proactive learning and a passion for acquiring new technologies.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop a secure Perception Systems software architecture for Apple platforms.
- Create an algorithm execution runtime and real-time algorithms for various sensors.
- Develop a corresponding system framework and APIs.
- Integrate the new framework with other system components and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance future Apple products.
