Job description
The Apple Ads team is seeking an IT SOX Compliance Program Manager to enhance SOX compliance and strengthen the IT control environment. This role involves working closely with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate IT control risks and design scalable compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SOX compliance methodologies and IT General Controls. This hands-on position requires a detail-oriented professional who can navigate complex technical environments effectively.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT SOX compliance, IT audit, internal controls, or external audit
- Strong experience with SOX IT General Controls (ITGCs), including testing methodologies and control evaluation
- Experience partnering with engineering or infrastructure teams in large-scale technical or cloud-based environments
- Strong understanding of controls related to change management, access management, and SDLC processes
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm strongly preferred
- Experience supporting SOX compliance programs at a large public technology company preferred
- Familiarity with GRC or compliance management tools
- CISA, CISSP, or equivalent certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate IT control risks and partner with engineering teams to improve compliance processes
- Support SOX compliance initiatives across Apple Ads and the broader organization
- Assess technical and compliance risks and drive remediation efforts
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
