Job description

As a Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon DocumentDB, you will play a crucial role in optimizing storage, indexing, and query performance for a fully-managed cloud database. You will take ownership of critical components such as the development of a query planner and executor, as well as index structures. Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
  • 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and code reviews
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
