The Senior Software Engineering Manager for Network Test and Infrastructure at Google is responsible for leading a team of engineers and managing large-scale projects across multiple locations. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in C++.
- 7 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
- Experience with Data Center Networking, Test Engineering, Python, Project Management, Establishing Standards and Quality Metrics.
Responsibilities
- Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals.
- Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams.
- Develop the long-term technical goal and roadmap within and beyond the scope of your teams.
- Oversee systems designs within the scope of the broader area.
- Review product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems.
