The role is for a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Custom Billing team at AWS, focusing on building cloud-based commerce systems. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and testing
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Define system architecture and implement specific components to enhance the billing experience.
- Lead projects that require collaboration among multiple engineers.
- Define and drive software best practices, including coding standards and agile development.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional teams.
- Take responsibility for technical problem solving in ambiguous scenarios.
