The SoC Performance Verification role at Apple involves crafting and building technology that powers Apple's devices. • Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of industry experience
• Strong knowledge of CPU and SoC architecture and design
• Familiarity with verification environments and Verilog, C/C++
• Experience with SystemVerilog, Verilog, and scripting in Perl/Python

• Work closely with Architecture to understand performance goals of the design
• Correlate RTL performance against model performance
• Perform deep performance analysis in the design and report findings
• Identify performance bottlenecks and coordinate with Design and Architecture teams to improve performance
• Define performance statistics to help performance debug and standard methodologies to improve performance correlation effort
