Job description

The role is for a software engineer within the External Investing Group at Goldman Sachs, focusing on building integrated architecture for secure and scalable infrastructure services. Requirements

  • A strong grounding in software engineering concepts and implementation of architecture design patterns.
  • A good understanding of multiple aspects of software development in microservices architecture.
  • Experience with SDLC practices and tooling, including version control, CI/CD, and configuration management tools.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, both written and orally.
  • Experience meeting demands for high availability and scalable system requirements.
  • Ability to reason about performance, security, and process interactions in complex distributed systems.
  • Experience with metrics and monitoring tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a global team to build integrated architecture for secure and scalable infrastructure services.
  • Partner with colleagues from across technology and risk to ensure an outstanding platform is delivered.
  • Help provide frictionless integration with the firm’s runtime, deployment, and SDLC technologies.
