Job description

The Intel Information Security organization is seeking a Network Security Engineer to assist in the design, architecture, and build of secure classified network products for U.S. Government operations. This role involves working with senior engineers to develop secure solutions that meet regulatory requirements. The candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of network systems. This position requires collaboration with various teams to enhance Intel's secure solution suite.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active US Government Top Secret (TS) security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access.
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of information technology experience or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering load balancing technologies, preferably F5.
  • 3+ years of experience in configuring and implementing network security infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with architecting network and network security products in secured enclaves.
  • Support design and long-term roadmap planning for scalability in secure enclaves.
  • Define system security requirements including authorization boundaries and security domains.
  • Design security interfaces and trust relationships between system components and external systems.
  • Implement system security designs using COTS, GOTS, and open-source hardware and software.
  • Oversee the hardening and configuration of systems according to federal guidance.
  • Coordinate security assessments to identify control failures and recommend corrective actions.
