Arcadis is seeking an experienced Sediment Remediation Engineer to join their team of sediment practitioners. This role focuses on supporting nationwide waterfront projects that involve sediment characterization, remediation design, and construction. The engineer will work on site investigations and the design and implementation of remedial actions at contaminated sediment sites. The position offers the flexibility to be based anywhere in the United States.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related field of practice
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the sediment field
- Professional Engineer license is preferred
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related field of practice is preferred
- Expertise in environmental dredging, sediment capping, or related areas is preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform as an engineer on sediment remediation and waterfront projects nationwide.
- Manage, lead, and prepare field sampling plans and remedial investigation reports.
- Lead preparation of client-ready documents and designs.
- Effectively manage and lead multidisciplinary teams, including project scopes and budgets.
- Provide mentoring and training to junior engineers and scientists.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on sediment investigation or remediation projects.
