Tesla is looking for an Industrial Engineer with experience in manufacturing environments, particularly in castings, trimming, and CNC machining. The role involves leading engineering initiatives to improve production processes and ensure operational excellence at the Lathrop site.

• 2+ years of industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering experience
• Experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing shop environment, specifically with castings, trimming processes, and CNC machining
• Experience with industry-standard problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement techniques
• Experience with simulation modeling software, data visualization software, design software, and programming languages
• Outstanding critical thinking and communication skills

• Identify, quantify, compare, and execute production process improvements
• Use predetermined time standard methods to analyze and optimize assembly processes
• Create and implement tools to audit efficiency and identify cost reduction opportunities
• Create, benchmark, and maintain headcount plans
• Educate and engage cross-functional teams in continuous improvement
