Tesla is seeking a motivated individual to lead the Process Engineering team for the Optimus manufacturing group in Fremont, CA. The role involves building a capable team to enhance process yield and monitoring throughout the product lifecycle of Tesla's Optimus bot, from beta builds to launch and sustaining operations.

• Degree in Industrial, Equipment, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of relevant experience in assembly, manufacturing, or maintenance environment
• At least 2 years in a people management role
• Proven first principles driven problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical capability and familiarity with analytical and statistical software systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiastic, innovative, and able to work independently

• Mentor and develop a strong team through recruitment, onboarding, training, and coaching
• Proactively plan for labor needs ahead of critical new manufacturing lines
• Standardize strategies and best practices to accelerate readiness for new products
• Oversee a team responsible for robust process control plans
• Manage line managers and technicians for operational activities
• Work cross-functionally to improve quality and cost
