Tesla's Supplier Industrialization team is seeking an experienced engineer to manage and improve supplier manufacturing processes for critical components. The role involves collaboration with internal teams and suppliers, ensuring high-quality production and timely delivery of parts to support rapid development cycles.

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of assembly plant experience with Seat components like Trim, Foam, Frames, or similar
• Experience in Quality Systems: PPAP/APQP processes; knowledge of GD&T and inspection
• Demonstrable leadership abilities; experience managing safety critical parts
• Ability to communicate and direct supplier activities at the management level
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong technical writing ability and data analysis skills
• Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time

• Develop, manage, audit, and improve supplier planning and execution of manufacturing techniques
• Drive negotiation for piece price and product development to meet cost expectations
• Facilitate communication of technical requirements between Suppliers and Tesla teams
• Accountable for supplier audits to ensure performance and reliability expectations
• Collaborate with Tesla teams to determine performance specifications and supplier metrics
• Guide suppliers in developing robust processes for high-quality production
• Validate supplier corrective actions for design and process changes
