This role involves working with colleagues and clients to deliver expertise in renewable construction, specifically optimizing capital expenditures for major solar PV installations. You will act as a subject matter expert, supporting clients through the entire solar value chain while continuously developing your own knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in engineering; advanced degree or MBA is preferred
- 10+ years of post-graduate work experience with a distinctive record of achievement and impact
- Experience working in construction renewables
- Significant construction experience with an EPC
- Have worked on large-sized projects
- Willingness to travel up to 80%
Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert in the renewable’s construction space
- Help clients optimize their capex for major solar PV installations
- Support clients through the full solar value chain including design & engineering, contracting & procurement, and project execution
- Work in cooperation with a worldwide network of consultants to shape McKinsey's thinking in this area
- Continuously develop your own knowledge and that of the firm
