Job description
Tesla is looking for a motivated individual to lead a team of process technicians in the manufacturing of a humanoid AI robot. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to quickly learn and implement effective training strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or maintenance environment
- Minimum 2 years managing a team
- Proficient in lean manufacturing methodologies
- Strong analytical capability and familiarity with analytical and statistical software systems such as SPC, JMP, Minitab, or Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Mentor and develop a strong team through selective recruitment, thorough onboarding, training, and coaching
- Oversee a team of technicians and supervisors to troubleshoot yield fall-out and manage documentation
- Utilize data to improve efficiency of the operation
- Develop and maintain strategies for effective team skillset versatility
- Optimize labor utilization, reduce waste, and align projects to drive manufacturing goals
