Job description
This role in North America Business Planning at Tesla involves supporting the company's expansion plans and measuring performance across various customer-facing teams. The position requires a blend of quantitative and qualitative analysis to forecast capacity needs and identify operational improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or Data Analytics or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in data analytics, scenario planning, predictive modeling
- Expert in data processing, including analysis of big data using Excel and SQL; experience using VBA, Python, or R is ideal
- Experience building data visualizations using Tableau Desktop or similar
- Experience collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Self-starter who can lead, manage, and prioritize multiple projects and workstreams in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Combine quantitative and qualitative analyses to explain factors driving customer demand and utilize this information to forecast capacity needs within Tesla’s customer facing portfolio of locations and teams
- Track and measure the performance of existing locations and teams and partner with operations leaders to identify improvement opportunities
- Analyze field feedback on operations systems and provide insights to the business and IT teams which highlight potential for enhancements which will improve efficiency
- Build business cases and analyses with Program Managers to support process improvement initiatives they are driving
- Create high-quality analyses and summaries for engagement with executive leadership
