Tesla is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to develop new processes and high-volume automation equipment for the Stator team in Austin, TX. The role involves collaborating with various teams to design and qualify manufacturing equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.

• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience improving production processes using data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience generating process and product quality documentation
• Strong hands-on experience with high-volume and pilot manufacturing
• Proven track record of data driven methodology to solve complex problems
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Generate process flow, failure mode effects analysis, and inspection methodology for new products
• Manage production line qualification procedures and documentation
• Collaborate with design, supplier industrial engineering, quality, and operations
• Provide design-for-manufacturing feedback to shape next-generation high volume products
• Optimize product flow and line efficiency while reducing capex and lead-time
