• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms and data structures
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP
• Experience in kernel or embedded development, particularly with the Linux kernel
• Scripting experience in Ruby, Python, or Rust
• Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design and algorithm design
• Knowledge of at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Rust, Python, or Perl
• Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch

• Be an engineer on a small team and mentor junior engineers.

• Lead architecture decisions and participate in design and code reviews.
