Job description
As a Senior Reliability Engineer at NVIDIA, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on developing innovative products that shape the future of technology. Requirements
- BS/MS in physical engineering, mechanical, materials, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in reliability engineering related to electronic packaging and modules.
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with electronic packaging, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
- Experience with advanced AI or similar expertise in reliability modeling tools.
- Understanding of reliability requirements for various IC packages.
- Proficiency in using DfR and/or FEA tools.
- Expertise in failure analysis for electronics products and components.
- Ability to work independently and drive projects to successful completion with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with component package development and operations teams to build reliability test plans for GPUs, Servers, Data Centers, and Automotive products.
- Develop new reliability methodologies and modeling for IC packages and GPU modules tailored to brand new applications.
- Review and boost reliability for different mechanical parts and the latest thermal cooling innovations.
- Coordinate and carry out packaging reliability testing in both internal and external laboratories.
- Lead failure analysis and coordinate root cause investigation with cross-functional internal and external groups.
