NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer - Boards to join their Board Product Development Engineering team. This role focuses on transitioning complex board products from design to mass production, collaborating with various cross-functional teams. The engineer will address electrical, mechanical, and thermal challenges while ensuring product quality and reliability. The position requires a strong background in engineering and a passion for technology.
Requirements
- Experience in server architectures, test equipment, board/PCB-design, and product engineering.
- Ability to debug complicated multi-disciplinary problems.
- Good team spirit and strong communication skills.
- Good grasp of testing strategies and their relation to yields and test-time.
- 2+ years of experience in design, manufacturing, validation, or testing of PCBs or similar systems.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Work on NVIDIA Engineering boards and tester systems to support GPU cards during NPI and production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet fast-paced delivery schedules.
- Provide DFx recommendations to the design team during the product design phase.
- Root cause failing boards using lab equipment and software tools.
- Analyze yield and parametric data using available tools and programming.
- Perform product design and validation to support design engineering.
- Define and improve manufacturing test plans to optimize coverage and yield.
- Direct local and overseas contract manufacturing factories for mass production.
- Regularly report product status and recommend improvements to management.
