Job description

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Printed Circuits Board Assembly (PCBA) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join their team. The role focuses on leading the research, development, and implementation of PCBA technologies and materials. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance to engineering teams and Contract Manufacturers across Asia. This position requires strong expertise in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and materials science, along with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in PCBA and materials.
  • OEM system-level PCBA experience is highly desirable.
  • Extensive expertise across PCBA technologies with a strong background in R&D materials and assembly processes.
  • Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Vietnamese preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead research, development, and implementation of PCBA Technology Development and complex Design of Experiments at Contract Manufacturers located across Asia.
  • Lead research and development of new PCBA technologies, interconnect technologies, and materials required for new products.
  • Own the development of PCBA technology and material roadmaps based on engineering requirements.
  • Engage with the PCBA CM base to ensure capability and readiness to meet roadmap requirements.
  • Work with CMs to define, procure, and implement equipment to support new technology requirements.
