This role involves collaboration with global circuits teams to innovate in digital, semi-custom, and mixed-signal analog circuits. The engineer will also mentor junior team members and drive the design and implementation of circuit IPs for security applications. This position is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy solving complex technical challenges.

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Good understanding of deep submicron process issues and digital circuit design techniques.
  • Familiarity with analog and mixed-signal block design such as op-amp, comparator, and ADC.
  • Hands-on experience running Spice simulations, EM/IR analysis, and static timing analysis/closure.
  • Experience with spice simulation for noise analysis, loop stability analysis, and transient analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and participate in cutting edge Processor design in deep submicron technologies.
  • Work as part of a global circuits team to design innovative circuits for silicon correlation and hardware security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance, reliability, and security of products.
  • Drive the design and physical implementation of digital and mixed-signal analog circuit IPs.
  • Create prototypes of patentable ideas on test chips and drive them to deployment across products.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts.
