Job description
NVIDIA's System Product Team is seeking motivated hardware engineers to advance the GPU memory subsystem from initial power-on to production. The role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance memory tuning, validation, and feature enablement on NVIDIA products. Candidates will utilize their expertise in digital, analog, and computer design to troubleshoot issues at multiple product stages. Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with a focus on mixed signal/analog, embedded systems, and digital design or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in hardware engineering.
- Understanding of high-speed signal integrity and experience with oscilloscopes.
- Knowledge of schematic capture and board design.
- Familiarity with PC systems, Windows OS, and Linux.
- Excellent understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as C, C++, JAVA, Python, or Perl.
- Strong collaboration and cross-disciplinary teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform DDR memory tuning, validation, and feature enablement on NVIDIA products.
- Review silicon design specifications, component datasheets, board schematics, and layout.
- Debug and resolve controller, memory, board, or software/firmware level issues at all product stages.
- Refine the memory bringup and validation strategy.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to silicon, board, and software teams.
