Job description
As a Reliability Engineer at Elanco, you will be part of the Engineering and Maintenance team focused on enhancing equipment reliability to support production and facility needs. Your role will involve developing maintenance strategies, analyzing equipment failures, and collaborating with various departments to ensure operational efficiency. You will also manage the Enterprise Asset Management system and maintain critical equipment metrics. This position is essential for driving reliability initiatives and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering field such as Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in engineering or maintenance reliability.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects of varying complexity and excellent technical communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the site Enterprise Asset Management system, including equipment inventory and maintenance plans.
- Analyze equipment and failure modes to develop preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Maintain the site’s equipment criticality tool and track monthly reliability metrics.
- Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, TS/MS, and Quality to identify critical equipment risks.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and collaborate with HSE for contractor safety.
