Job description

The role is for an entry-level engineer in the Lithography team at Intel Foundry Technology and Development. The team focuses on developing and executing advanced Lithography manufacturing processes to support innovative device architectures. The engineer will work on experiments, data analysis, and collaborate with industry partners to enhance manufacturing capabilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology that impacts lives globally.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant fields is required.
  • Candidates must have at least 6 months of experimental lab work.
  • Familiarity with common ML/AI frameworks and experience in C# or Python are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments to develop manufacturing processes that meet engineering specifications.
  • Participate in the development of intellectual property for novel transistor and interconnect architecture.
  • Work with industry partners to implement equipment and address capability shortcomings.
  • Install and qualify High Volume Manufacturing capacity during ramp-up to HVM volumes.
  • Participate in technology transfer to other Intel factories to ensure consistent processing.
