The role is for an experienced software engineer within the EC2 Nitro organization, focusing on the development of new EC2 machine learning platforms. Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Drive development for new EC2 machine learning platforms
- Work with technical teams developing hardware, firmware, systems, and application software
- Utilize expertise in C/C++ or Rust development in a Linux environment
- Manage Linux package management, version control systems, and automated build processes
- Conduct software unit testing and ensure code quality
