The Transport Libraries team within AWS Cryptography is seeking an experienced software developer to work on open-source TLS and QUIC libraries that secure data in transit across AWS. The role focuses on practical cryptography, including post-quantum cryptography and leveraging GenAI technologies. Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Own the full software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
- Deliver foundational cryptographic libraries integrated across all AWS front-door services.
- Engage with internal and external customers to identify gaps in data-in-transit protection.
- Build solutions at scale to protect cloud workloads against HNDL threats.
- Leverage GenAI technologies to transition AWS services to post-quantum cryptography.
