The Alexa Global Quality (AGQ) team is seeking a quality assurance software engineer to lead automation and framework enhancement efforts for Alexa's multi-locale experience. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality, culturally relevant interactions for customers across various international locales. The engineer will drive the strategy and best practices for quality assurance while collaborating closely with engineers and product managers. The position emphasizes building scalable, AI-powered solutions for product validation across diverse linguistic and cultural contexts.

• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
• 2+ years of experience building test automation frameworks and tools
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• Experience in penetration testing and exploitability-focused vulnerability assessment
• Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment

• Lead the quality assurance automation and framework creation/enhancement efforts for Alexa's multi-locale experience
• Establish a consistent, scalable testing framework that supports multi-locale validation
• Work closely with engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and testing approach for internationalization
• Build and evolve agentic tooling for end-to-end quality evaluation
• Create metrics and reports on quality status, technical operations, and system performance across all locales
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, engineering, locale experts, and business teams
