The Application Engineer will work on the Asset Intelligence Platform, which serves as a consolidated registry mapping applications and services to their infrastructure. This role focuses on understanding customer needs and translating them into product direction while supporting users and onboarding new teams. The engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the platform evolves alongside the infrastructure and stakeholder requirements. This position emphasizes the importance of both the system and its users.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a role combining technical depth with customer or product engagement.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and platform engineering, including data centers and cloud environments.
- Technical fluency sufficient to read and review code, write scripts, and work with APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust with customers and communicate solutions clearly.
- Strong product instincts with the ability to evaluate tradeoffs and prioritize based on value.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the problems internal customers face.
