Job description
The role is focused on designing and developing innovative camera hardware for Apple products within the Camera Hardware Engineering group. This team is responsible for creating superior camera systems, including RGB wide, ultra-wide, telephoto, and front cameras. The position requires collaboration with various teams to research, develop, and test camera hardware. The ideal candidate will be passionate and proactive, tackling challenges in camera technology to enhance user experience.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field of interest.
- Experience in high-speed signal and/or PDN fundamentals.
- Experience with mainstream tool chains such as HFSS, SI-Wave/PSI, Q3D, CST, and/or ADS.
- MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field with at least 10 years of industry-related experience.
- Academic or industry exposure to camera or SI/PI technical areas and/or electromagnetic concepts.
- Experience running substrate, package, flex, and/or PCB level SI/PI simulations.
- Comfortable handling VNA, TDR, and/or Oscilloscope in academic or professional settings.
- Great communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Academic knowledge or experience with image sensors or camera modules.
- Proficient in using JMP for statistical analysis.
- Experience in Python scripting for automating simulation setup.
