Job description

The SAP Basis Administrator will join Apple's SAP Technology team, focusing on managing and optimizing the SAP environment that supports the global supply chain and financial systems. This role requires a technical and creative individual who can think broadly and quickly while managing a team. The position involves working closely with various application development and production support teams, utilizing both on-premise and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, enthusiastic, and possess strong operational ownership.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in production support, operations engineering, workload automation, or enterprise platform support.
  • 2 years of experience in supporting workload automation or enterprise job scheduling platforms.
  • 2 years of experience with working knowledge in Linux/Unix environments.
  • 2 years of experience with Python scripting and REST APIs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Effective cross-functional coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the continuous operation, maintenance, and evolution of the SAP deployment.
