The role focuses on building AI-powered capabilities and multi-tenant workshop management for the Workshop Studio team at AWS. This team is responsible for creating hands-on technical learning experiences for AWS customers and is transitioning to an AI-native architecture. The position involves technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and enhance platform capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
- 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered capabilities on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
- Design multi-tenant workshop management with access controls and lifecycle tooling.
- Evolve the authentication and authorization architecture across multiple identity providers.
- Lead design reviews and mentor a team of backend and frontend engineers.
- Own production health through on-call rotations and incident response.
