Job description

The Software Development Engineer role at Amazon focuses on building AWS AI services utilizing machine learning and large language model technologies. Engineers will work closely with a diverse group of professionals, including applied scientists and software engineers, to influence strategy and define the team's roadmap. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
  • 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy distributed machine learning systems and large-scale solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to influence overall strategy and define the team's roadmap.
  • Drive system architecture and spearhead best practices to ensure a quality product.
  • Coach and develop junior engineers to enhance their skills and contributions.
