Requirements
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using ETL/ELT processes
- 3+ years of experience developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using OLAP technologies
- 3+ years of experience developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using data modeling
- 3+ years of experience developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using SQL
- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with non-relational databases or data stores
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support data warehouse and data lake infrastructure using AWS big data stack and related technologies.
- Develop and manage ETLs to source data from various systems and create a unified data model for analytics and reporting.
- Use business intelligence and visualization software to develop dashboards for senior leadership.
- Empower internal customers to drive their own analytics and reporting and support ad-hoc reporting as needed.
- Develop a deep understanding of vast data sources to effectively solve business problems.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Finance, Service Engineering Teams, and Sales Teams to support new analytics requirements.
- Manage multiple requests concurrently and prioritize effectively.
- Mentor other engineers and positively influence team culture.
