Job description

The role of the Sales Engineer (SE) at Apple involves being a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, helping them navigate technical and business challenges related to Apple technologies. SEs work closely with account teams to establish relationships with key executives and drive the adoption of Apple solutions. They leverage their technical knowledge and storytelling abilities to communicate complex concepts effectively. This position requires a commitment to integrity and accountability while ensuring customer success.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of quota-carrying experience advising on technical business transformation solutions for large enterprises or consultative pre-sales engineering roles.
  • Demonstrate the capability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to tell compelling stories through presentation software as well as short-form communication tools.
  • Demonstrate IS/IT knowledge with experience in AI implementations, enterprise security, networking, and communications technologies for iOS, macOS, and competing platforms.
  • Ability to articulate the benefits of modern deployment methods to enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships as trusted advisors to top executives and identify opportunities to deliver Apple solutions.
  • Drive technical journeys and demonstrate ownership of the tactics necessary to execute the sales strategy.
  • Understand customer business needs and identify technical blockers to increase technical readiness.
  • Promote networking standard methodologies and align customers with resources to remedy networking issues.
  • Architect strategies to meet customer security requirements on the Apple platform.
