Job description

The SAP Technology team at Apple is seeking a technical and creative SAP Basis Administrator to manage a complex and integrated SAP landscape. This role involves overseeing the operation and maintenance of one of the largest SAP deployments in the world, which supports critical business functions. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated team player, responsible for system scalability, availability, and performance. This position requires innovative thinking and the ability to lead technical solutions across various platforms.

Requirements

  • 4 years of Basis experience in managing and administering both ABAP and JAVA stacks
  • 2 years of experience in SAP Cloud Platform services
  • 2 years of experience in SAP Hana Cloud & Native Hana
  • 2 years of experience in creating and deploying SAP SDI Replication to the SAP Hana Cloud & SAP Cloud Connector
  • 2 years of experience in SAP systems running on GCP
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP J2EE Server installation, administration, and tuning
  • Experience in Oracle and SAP HANA Database administration
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving issues in SAP systems running on Oracle and HANA

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team and provide optimal solutions for a complex and integrated SAP landscape
  • Oversee the continuous operation, maintenance, and evolution of SAP systems
  • Ensure system scalability, availability, and performance
