Job description
The Senior Lead Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will oversee all I&C engineering and design activities for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry regulations. This role involves managing both domestic and international teams while providing mentorship and training to support successful project delivery. The engineer will be responsible for developing project scopes, preparing estimates, and defining resources for project execution. Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team is essential to design electrical circuits and control systems, while also identifying optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of experience as a Control Systems Engineer
- Experience in Bio Pharma, Pharmaceutical, and Lab process Instrumentation and controls
- Knowledge of international codes like ASME BPE and hygienic systems
- Familiarity with Life Science Industry Automation, DCS, and PLC control systems
Responsibilities
- Serve as the I&C Lead Engineer, overseeing all engineering and design activities for assigned projects
- Develop project scopes of work and prepare manhour estimates
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and applicable industry regulations
- Perform tiered reviews of project deliverables for accuracy and adherence to design criteria
- Mentor team members and support their professional growth
