Job description

The BXMA Direct Trading Operations Analyst role at Blackstone involves supporting trade operations within a dynamic environment. Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in treasury, trade support, or middle office.
  • Expertise in fixed income, derivatives, and equity products.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the trade life cycle.
  • Proficiency with Excel and experience with Python is a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree is required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for trade capture, cash and position reconciliations, and proactive resolution of exceptions.
  • Interact with sell side trading counterparts on market updates and trade related issues.
  • Collaborate with various teams within the firm to address trade and compliance queries.
  • Research and resolve trade breaks at Prime Brokers, Fund Administrators, and Custodians.
  • Run end-of-day flash PNL and generate ad-hoc risk/performance reporting to support the investment team.
  • Partner with the technology team on building out technology solutions to enhance the control environment and optimize performance reporting.
